Good evening, everyone, it's Tyrus again.
First of all, I'm gonna be honest: I've never felt more demotivated. I've barely worked on editing book 2, and I suspect there's still a lot more I'll need to do. I can't tell you why I've felt so tired and unwilling to write. I've been staying up later and sleeping in more, so that might be a factor, but I guess I'm just tired of working on the same project with very little to show for it. Maybe I should take another break, or just start work on book 3 until I feel confident writing again. Writing is starting to feel like a job I don't get paid for at this point. I gotta shake this frustration off soon, or I'm never gonna finish this damn book. Second, I'm not gonna draw this out with a third part, so I'll just keep it short and tell you about my personal life. I might get a new job soon, which is exciting. I've been working my current job for over four years, so I'd like something different by this point. I'm also going for a family vacation at the end of the month, which is also exciting. I also got a copy of "All Tomorrows" which is a book I've wanted to read for a while. It's pretty good, great inspiration for The Advent. Hopefully next update I'll have a lot more progress I can share with you guys. You deserve better than some guy rambling about why his hobby is getting boring because he doesn't get dopamine. I know these things take time to perfect, but it gets to a point, you know? Thank you all for reading once again, and I hope you continue to anticipate the next installment in the Advent Novel Series. Incorrect Quote: *Comments under an image of a really hot knife cutting bread* Vyrus: Imagine stabbing someone with this knife. Flash: It would instantly cauterize the wound, so the person wouldn't bleed, so it's not very useful. Scott: if you want information it is Eris: why would you STAB a person when you can have TOAST?
