Good afternoon, everyone, it's Tyrus once again.
I'm breaking my usual formula today to be more honest than formal. It's been pretty slow the past two weeks. I'm still conceptualizing everything I want to see in book 3, but I'm really busy with work and other life stuff. Money is short, and everything is expensive. I can't make any promises anymore on when Book 2 can be published or when Book 3 will be published. The reality is just this: Long projects like this will just take a lot of time and money. And I think the reason why Book 1 only took a few months to publish and fewer to write was simple: I had a lot of inspiration, money and free time. I don't exactly have a lot of that anymore. Maybe that's me coping about how it's a lot harder to write now, but I also think my standards for writing got a lot better. I'm confident in saying Book 1 isn't too well written. It was rushed, the pacing is everywhere, and the dialogue feels clunky. I don't want that for any of my other books, so I want them to be perfect. I know a lot of people are really excited to read book 2, so I may consider getting some beta readers to read through book 2 and get their direct opinions on how the book was. If anyone is interested in reading what I have for book 2 and giving honest, constructive feedback, give me an email. You'll help with advice and it'll give me something REAL to work with other than just what I THINK I need to fix. That's all for today. Thank you for reading and your continued patience. I hope you all continue to anticipate the next installment in the Advent Novel Series! Incorrect Quote: Eris: The ‘how the fucks’ and 'why are you so dumbs’ don’t matter. All that matters is that I have a new gun.
