Hello everyone, Tyrus here.
Starting today, I'm going to try giving bi-weekly reports about progress on The Advent's next book, as well as any other details going on that I feel are important. So, to start off, I'm pretty happy with how Book 1 has sold so far. It seems a lot of people who have personally given feedback are big fans of what I've written, and I'm very grateful for that. All I really wanted to do was write something that someone could feel inspired about, and maybe enjoy themselves reading it. So far, it seems like everyone who's read it has loved the vision and effort I put into it, as well as other things like the cover design (Created by the illustrator, Paul Schultz, thank you Paul, you killed it.) and the overall formatting of the book, created by the design team working at Friesenpress. Now, progress on Book 2 has been coming along nicely. I won't reveal too much yet, but I'll just say that it's definitely going to be longer than Book 1. I feel like Book 1 was somewhat...rushed. I was actually in a writing class and wrote my book alongside other writers in the four-ish months it took me to finish writing and we had a limit of 2500 words per chapter, and only 20 chapters. I did go over the limit, but I wish I went past it further. I won't be making that mistake for Book 2 though. Book 2 is going to have around 3500+ words per chapter and will probably be more than 20 chapters. Currently, the first 4 are complete, and chapter 5 is being written. I already have most of the story completed in my head, I just need to flesh it out and write it down. Anyway, that's all I have for this report. I hope you all continue to anticipate Book 2. Thank you for reading.
